Memories of Contort

I was commissioned to create a digital art piece for the Form Ever Follows Function exhibition (February - March 2019) in the Illuminations gallery at Maynooth University, Ireland. The exhibition was curated by Chris Makris of gorse journal and Dimitra Xidous and Patrick Chapman of the Pickled Body journal, and 'was an exploration of the spaces between the digital and the physical in writing, art, composition, dissemination and publishing' (C Makris). You can watch my piece, Memories of Contort, below.

This was my first attempt at providing my own music in the form of my harmonica playing. It's also only the second time I've produced work in  black and white (the first being a single photograph as part of my Chasm piece)
